Academy of Lifestyle Medicine

Where the clear stream of reason has not lost its way into dreary desert of dead habits

The first line of treatment for any chronic disease like hypertension and diabetes is lifestyle modification. Unfortunately, in the past two decades, the art of history-taking and lifestyle assessment has been lost. Technology is beneficial but is a double-edged sword; we should know when to use it and when not to use it.

With 20 years of experience in various fields and five years of diligent work on chronic disease management and reversal, our dedicated team of coaches and dieticians has achieved remarkable results. We have successfully halted the progression of many chronic diseases and, in some cases, reversed conditions that were deemed hopeless by other doctors. This is not a fault of doctors; their specialties differ, and they cannot spend extensive time with each patient. What we need is support for doctors and more healthcare providers to reduce their load.

For example, in India, out of 1.4 billion people, we have only 3.2 million healthcare providers. In contrast, the UK’s NHS, with a population of 60 million, has 1.6 million healthcare providers, and the US, with 330 million people, has 10 million healthcare providers. We need to train more healthcare providers, which is why we are taking the Holistic Nutrition Training Program (HNTP) to the world. Just as we export space programs and software services, we aim to export lifestyle medicine globally.

This is the vision of the Academy of Lifestyle Medicine. More healthcare providers need to learn these principles, which are quite easy to grasp. I use the Feynman Technique to teach, and if you search for the Holistic Nutrition Training Program online, you will find five-star ratings and reviews from students who have benefited from our services. Many have given personal feedback on their transformations.

It's high time for an academy dedicated to lifestyle medicine. We are branding HNTP to align with this vision and plan to launch on October 10th, Founder’s Day. On this day, we will release a book with 108 incredible stories of chronic disease reversal. This July, we celebrated four years since the launch of HNTP, and this year, we are holding conferences every quarter. October 10th marks our third-quarter update, during which we will rebrand and release our book showcasing 108 incredible stories of transformation achieved by our lifestyle medicine coaches.
